1. Acceptance
By using the PocketEar app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Service Description
PocketEar is a mobile application that records audio, transcribes it to text, and analyzes it with artificial intelligence. Our services include:
- Audio recording
- Speech-to-text transcription
- AI-powered summary generation
- Action item extraction
- Cloud storage of recordings and transcripts
3. Account Creation
You need to create an account to use our services. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up-to-date. You must maintain the security of your account and report any unauthorized access to us.
4. Acceptable Use
When using our services, you must comply with the following rules:
- Do not use the service for illegal activities
- Do not violate the rights of others
- Do not upload or distribute harmful content
- Do not misuse or abuse the service
- Do not record third parties without their consent, where consent is required by law
It is your responsibility to comply with the recording laws of your jurisdiction.
5. Intellectual Property
The PocketEar app and its content (design, code, graphics) are our intellectual property. Content created by users (recordings, transcripts, summaries) belongs to the users.
6. Subscription and Payment
A paid subscription may be required for premium features:
- Subscriptions are processed through the App Store or Google Play
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- Refunds are subject to platform policies
- Prices may change; we will provide notice of material changes
7. Service Limitations
Each plan has specific usage limits (monthly recording time, storage space, etc.). Additional charges may apply or service may be restricted when limits are exceeded.
8. Warranty Disclaimer
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of transcription and AI summaries. Human verification is recommended for critical decisions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PocketEar cannot be held liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
10. Account Termination
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your account in case of violation of these terms of service.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes. Your continued use of the service after changes means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Disputes will be resolved in Istanbul courts.
